Sardar Pritam Singh Khuranj
ਸਰਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੁਰਾਂਜ
President of the SGPC from 5 October 1952 to 18 January 1954, between Master Tara Singh and Ishar Singh Majhail, by the SGPC's own list of its presidents.
Sardar Pritam Singh Khuranj served as president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) for just over fifteen months in 1952 to 1954. The SGPC's own list of presidents gives his term as 5 October 1952 to 18 January 1954, makes his the sixteenth entry in a list of 45 terms, and names him Sardar Pritam Singh 'Khuranj'. Wikipedia's table of presidents, which takes its dates from the SGPC, spells his first name Preetam.
He took over from Master Tara Singh, whom the list shows as president from 29 June to 5 October 1952, and Ishar Singh Majhail followed him on 18 January 1954 and held the post until 7 February 1955. The list does not say why either change was made.
He should not be confused with Pritam Singh Gojra (1896 to 1976), a jathedar who led the Riyasti Akali Dal from its founding and who, the Encyclopaedia of Sikhism says, was elected president of the Shiromani Akali Dal in 1944. The sources opened for this page give only Khuranj's name, title and term. They do not say how he came to the office, what the SGPC did under him or why his term ended, so none of that is stated here.
