Sardar Baldev Singh Sibia
ਸਰਦਾਰ ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿਬੀਆ
President of the SGPC from 28 November 1990 to 13 November 1991, the one-year break in Gurcharan Singh Tohra's long presidency; little else is recorded.
Sardar Baldev Singh Sibia was president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), the elected body that runs the historic gurdwaras, from 28 November 1990 to 13 November 1991. The SGPC's own list of its presidents gives those dates, and Wikipedia's page on the SGPC agrees; Wikipedia spells his surname Sibiya.
He held the office for under a year, between two spells of Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra. The SGPC's list gives Tohra's second spell as 30 November 1986 to 28 November 1990, and his next as starting on 13 November 1991. Wikipedia's page on Tohra gives the end of the second spell as 20 November 1990, eight days earlier.
The sources we opened say nothing of how Sibia came to the post, what he did in it, or when he was born or died, and this page does not guess.
