Ohio-based Sikh publisher and tax-exempt foundation behind Ranbir Singh Sandhu's 1997 essay on Bhindranwale and his 1999 translation of Bhindranwale's speeches, Struggle for Justice.
The Sikh Educational and Religious Foundation is a Sikh publishing and educational organisation based in Dublin, Ohio. US tax records, as shown by ProPublica's Nonprofit Explorer, list it as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organisation from January 1986 under the name Sikh Education And Religious Foundation, with Form 990 returns shown for 2001 to 2008. The sources opened do not name its founder or officers.
Its publications: In May 1997 it published the essay "Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale: Life, Mission, and Martyrdom" by Dr Ranbir S. Sandhu. The essay argues that the army's orders during Operation Woodrose, which told troops to report amritdhari Sikhs, were unmistakably orders for genocide against Sikhs who had taken amrit. In 1999 it published Struggle for Justice: Speeches and Conversations of Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale, translated by Sandhu from Punjabi audio and video recordings. Open Library lists the book at 503 pages, published at Dublin, Ohio.
